Bordeaux Awaits Round 2 of the 2023 French Grand Prix

The French Grand Prix heads to wine country this weekend for the second round of the series in Bordeaux. Although the bike course will be slightly shorter than normal (18.75km instead of the usual 20km), the classic 750m swim and 5km run will be on the cards. The bike route contains two dead turns, albeit one involves going turning around a small roundabout, and plenty of long straights to drop the hammer. After a Saturday of Olympic distance racing in Europe and Asia, Sunday’s Americas Cup saw a shift to Sprint racing. With lush jungle surrounding the course, Chinchiná made for a beautiful event location. Doubling as an Asia Cup race, the Central Asian Championships took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
