We are one week out from the denouement of the 2023 WTCS season and the world titles are about to be decided. With that in mind, it is time to have your say as to who you think will triumph in the men’s competition.
At the start of the season, the poll asking who people thought the men’s world champion would be was completely split. The results actually looked like this:
- Leo Bergere – 16%
- Alex Yee – 27%
- Hayden Wilde – 15%
- Kristian Blummenfelt – 11%
- Someone else – 31%
Heading into the WTCS Final, it looks as if the Series will come down to a shoot out between Yee and Wilde. Potential spoilers like Vasco Vilaca lay waiting. Moreover, Leo Bergere could summon the magic of last year to stun the world once again. On balance, though, the race will likely be between Yee and Wilde.
A marginal points difference separates Yee and Wilde. As such, whoever crosses the line first of the two should take the world title.
Perhaps you are part of the 27% that voted for Yee at the start of the year or the 15% that voted for Wilde. In those cases do you stick or twist? Likewise, the 16% that voted for Leo Bergere could keep faith, even though he will start the Final ranked 4th. He’s done it before, after all.
Whatever happens, the best men’s race of the year could be in store.
Take your pick below, then, for your world champion.
The results of the poll will be shared in the coming days.
