Two of Mexico’s rising triathletes took on the half marathon in Puerto Vallarta at the weekend. Racing along the beach front of the Pacific coast of Jalisco, Aram Michell Peñaflor Moysen and Rosa Maria Tapia Vidal produced a pair of sterling efforts. A number of WTCS athletes turned up at the VII Triathlon Sprint Città di Lignano. Taking the win in the women’s race was World U23 bronze medallist Bianca Seregni. Seregni led in the water with a 9:19 split over the 750m swim. Angelica Prestia was next out, 17 seconds behind. Anabel Knoll took on the Schnauzer Seelauf in Ingolstadt yesterday as she continues on the road back to full race fitness. Alberte Kjaer Pedersen’s running ability is no secret. In 2021, she ran the 3000m at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Poland, clocking a time of 9:00.80 which was a Danish record. At the weekend a number of Portugal’s best triathletes gathered for the national Sprint championships at the XXXVI Triatlo de Oeiras.
